Motor City Fun Run

Aqua Shores Marine brings to you the 2008 Motor City Fun Run on Lake Erie raising money for the Wyandotte Hospital and is a perfect place for a fun get together drawing boats from all over the country. Aqua Shores Marine has volunteered to be our hosting location. Be sure to ask them about slip and mooring options. The slips are limited, so signup quick if you want one. Friday night we’ll be having a pre- registration party at the Aqua Shores Marine. Get your goody bags, and greet old and new friends.

Saturday night will be Aqua Shores Marine Serving dinner, with the (TBD) Band and awards Banquet to follow.

7:30 AM to 10:45 AM - Arrival sign in and registration Aqua Shores Marine.

---------FUN RUN TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THIS EVENT------------

· The registration fees: Each entry includes Two Goodie Bags, Two Poker hands, Two T-shirts, Two Wrist bands for your lunch/ Dinner/prize drawings, and event Fun Run DVD.

· Registration on or before June 15th 2008 - $175.00

· ANY REGISTRATION AFTER June 15th- $225.00.

· Additional Playing Hands are $20.00.

· Additional Passengers are $50.00 This Includes 1 Goodie Bag, Lunch, Dinner and Entry to after Party with Band.

Children under 5 are free.

· Additional Poker Run T-shirts or Tanks will be available for $15.00 each.

· Any tied high hands will be decided by high card cut of a deck at dinner, there will be three high hand winners. Prize's determined by total hands sold.

· Card Turn in: If you do not finish and turn in your hands to starting location Aqua Shores Marine by 7:00 PM, it will be assumed you have dropped out and have forfeited your entry. Exceptions granted: Equipment failure or assisting fellow boater. Fun Run officials must be notified by 6:30pm of Participants name(s) and Boat.

· There is a 150 boat maximum number of entries. If we reach 150 paid entries before the event, no additional entries at the event. Each participating boat must provide a copy of their current hull / liability policy and current boat registration.

· Each driver must sign a waiver that they have not taken any illegal substances nor consumed alcohol 6 (six) hours before this gathering and will not consume either while driving the boat. Subject to disqualification!

· Each driver and all boat riders must sign a waiver and release. This release state's, "In consideration of being permitted to participate in this Fun Run, the participant will not hold Aqua Shores Marine, Powerboatparty.com or any sponsors liable should they be harmed during the Fun Run".

· Personal Floatation Devices (PFD’s / Life Jackets) are mandatory are to be worn during this Fun Run while operating your boat. All occupants of the boat must wear PFD’s.

· The Fun Run is NOT a race. There will be many boats on the lake not part of the Fun run, please respect them.

· No refunds will be given; this would not be fair to the other participants. Participants are requested to pray for good weather. Fun Run Goes Rain or Shine!

· DO NOT OPEN PLAYING CARD ENVELOPES! DISQUALIFICATION OF PRIZES WILL RESULT!
